Walks to Sainte-Rose-du Nord
20 minutes from the Pourvoirie, the village of Sainte-Rose-du-Nord is one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Quebec". Its shops and nature interpretation museum make it picturesque village.

Parc Aventures Cap Jaseux
Less than an half hour drive from the Pourvoirie, Cap Jaseux has one of the largest and most exciting aerial rope courses in Quebec, the 'tree to tree' course with more than 70 platforms fixed on the trees. You can complete the course safely under the supervision of fully certified guides. The equipment is supplied on site. A half day outing at least.

Via Ferrata
Another adventure at Cap Jaseux is Via Ferrata. A climb on rock wall overlooking the waters of the Fjord brings you face to face with nature in all its glory. A unique adventure where you can move ahead in complete safety. Emotion and thrills guaranteed. A dizzying experience not to be missed!
Conditions: 8 years and above, minimum height with arms extended from toes to fingertips 1.5 m, minimum weight 45 kg (100 pounds) and not more than 100 kg (220 pounds). -15 year olds and below must be accompanied by a responsible adult -Must be in good health ** You need at least 2 ½ to 3 hours to complete the full climb.

Monts-Valin National Park

Whale watching cruises

Interpretation Centre flats and rehabilitation of birds
Facing Saint-Fulgence, the brackish marshes of the Saguenay River is the point where the fresh water of Lac-Saint-Jean and the salty water of the Saint-Laurent meet. Waterfowl and other shore birds gather in this feeding area referred to as a "sandbank". More than 280 species have been spotted here

Aerial view of the region in a plane or a hydroplane
Le Québec est le pays de l'hydravion. Quebec is the land of hydroplanes. Saint-David-de-Falardeau, at an hour's distance from the Pourvoirie, is the largest hydroplane base in Quebec. You can enjoy an aerial view of the Fjord and the region on one of Air Saguenay's 40 planes. From the sky, you might even be lucky enough to spot a few whales!
Packages for 20, 30, 45 or 60 minutes allow you to explore the Fjord from an entirely different angle.

Air Defense Museum (Open from 15 June to 6 September 2010)
Just next to La Baie, an hour away from the Pourvoirie, the Air Defense Museum is situated on the Canadian Army airbase. This is one of the two air force bases in Canada which maintains permanently CF-18 fighter aircrafts of the tactical Canadian air force. The only museum in Quebec dedicated to the history of military aviation, it was built in 1942 for training pilots and perfecting the Alcan plants as well as the power plants of the region during the Second World War. A must in the summer of 2010: Exhibition on the Battle of Britain.

Fjord Museum
The Fjord Museum is an enjoyable dynamic experience which transports you to the fantastic universe of the Saguenay Fjord and the Ha! Ha! Bay. Nouvelle-France site The New France site is situated on the other side of the Fjord and faces the Cap au Leste Outfitter 10 km away from La Baie. Going there is like going back four centuries in time to the Saguenay Kingdom era so dear to Jacques Cartier! The historical village of Val-Jalbert
